NSF provides seven action items through which you can help defend health and food freedom

The plot to keep you sick (Opinion)

(Natural News)What would you do if you learned there was a concerted effort to keep you sick? And what would you do if you learned that the way they could do that was by the food that you ate? Would that upset you? Well, be prepared.

The best way for me to explain this is to put it in the vernacular of the street, relating to it all as pimps, hookers, and tricks.

If you were looking at it this way, who do you think the pimps might be? The number one pimp on my list is the pharmaceutical industry. Why is that? First of all they are all publicly traded companies and the first and foremost goal of a publicly traded company is to increase profits. And the best way to increase profits is by increasing earnings per share. The best way to do that is to sell tons of the product you sell.

The pharmaceutical industry, first and foremost, is in the business of selling drugs. In order to sell drugs, people have to be sick. They have to be sick either through natural causes or by inventing diseases. We’ll get to the natural causes down the road.

Up until about eight years ago there was never such thing as “Restless Leg Syndrome”. Before “Gastric Reflux Disease” took on such a fancy name, it was simply known as heartburn. These are just a couple of examples of how the pharmaceutical industry invents diseases to sell drugs. I wouldn’t be surprised if they don’t come up with a disease called “Refrigerator Door Syndrome”. I guess the main symptom of that would be opening up the refrigerator door and looking for something that didn’t exist five minutes ago when you did the same thing. Or, they could come up with “Motivational Deficiency Disorder”, which basically is a fancy word for lazy. Another one could be “Consumption Deficit Anxiety Disorder”. This could be described as being in anxiety because your neighbor has more toys than you do. I’m sure if you guys try, I think you could probably come up with some classic diseases of your own. And who knows, maybe you could market them to the pharmaceutical industry and get paid royalties for the rest your life. (The fictitious disease names were created by Mike Adams).

The one thing they don’t tell you when you take prescription drugs is that because they’re synthetic toxic chemicals there is a really good chance that you will experience severe negative reactions to these drugs. The bad news is that President George Bush made it so that you can’t sue the pharmaceutical industry if you get sick or die. So basically you’re just subjected to taking their drugs and hope for the best.

Food Safety bill S.510 Would Grant the FDA New, Tyrannical Powers that Could be Used to Criminalize Backyard Gardening, Outlaw Saving Seeds, Imprison People who Sell Raw Milk

Debate could extend into the weekend

According to comments made on the Senate floor this morning, a weekend session is possible if a vote is not reached on S.510 today.

This is good news for all of us who oppose S.510 because it would give us more time to rally opposition. If the bill cannot be effectively opposed, it might give us time to push for the “Tester Amendment” which would exempt small farms (and presumably backyard gardens, too) from the onerous provisions of S.510.

Senator Harry Reid, who I personally consider to be one of the most corrupt and repugnant human beings to have ever set foot on the US Senate floor, is of course pushing hard for passage of this bill. He uses claims like “No one should have to worry if their salad or sandwich is going to kill them” but conveniently forgets that if the bill passes, people will have to worry about their own government imprisoning them for selling raw milk, seed sprouts, or garden vegetables to their local neighbors and friends.

Extending the reach of cold tyranny is always disguised as saving lives. But make no mistake: This isn’t a bill about saving lives, it’s about expanding the power of Big Brother to control your gardens, your seeds, your milk, your food and your freedom.

Why don’t McDonald’s hamburgers decompose?

(NaturalNews)So why don’t fast food burgers and fries decompose in the first place? The knee-jerk answer is often thought to be, “Well they must be made with so many chemicals that even mold won’t eat them.” While that’s part of the answer, it’s not the whole story.

The truth is many processed foods don’t decompose and won’t be eaten by molds, insects or even rodents. Try leaving a tub of margarine outside in your yard and see if anything bothers to eat it. You’ll find that the margarine stays seems immortal, too!

Potato chips can last for decades. Frozen pizzas are remarkably resistant to decomposition. And you know those processed Christmas sausages and meats sold around the holiday season? You can keep them for years and they’ll never rot.

With meats, the primary reason why they don’t decompose is their high sodium content. Salt is a great preservative, as early humans have known for thousands of years. McDonald’s meat patties are absolutely loaded with sodium — so much so that they qualify as “preserved” meat, not even counting the chemicals you might find in the meat.

To me, there’s not much mystery about the meat not decomposing. The real question in my mind is why don’t the buns mold? That’s the really scary part, since healthy bread begins to mold within days. What could possibly be in McDonald’s hamburger buns that would ward off microscopic life for more than two decades?

As it turns out, unless you’re a chemist you probably can’t even read the ingredients list out loud. Here’s what McDonald’s own website says you’ll find in their buns:

Enriched flour (bleached wheat flour, malted barley flour, niacin, reduced iron, thiamin mononitrate, riboflavin, folic acid, enzymes), water, high fructose corn syrup, sugar, yeast, soybean oil and/or partially hydrogenated soybean oil, contains 2% or less of the following: salt, calcium sulfate, calcium carbonate, wheat gluten, ammonium sulfate, ammonium chloride, dough conditioners (sodium stearoyl lactylate, datem, ascorbic acid, azodicarbonamide, mono- and diglycerides, ethoxylated monoglycerides, monocalcium phosphate, enzymes, guar gum, calcium peroxide, soy flour), calcium propionate and sodium propionate (preservatives), soy lecithin.

Great stuff, huh? You gotta especially love the HFCS (diabetes, anyone?), partially-hydrogenated soybean oil (anybody want heart disease?) and the long list of chemicals such as ammonium sulfate and sodium proprionate. Yum. I’m drooling just thinking about it.

Now here’s the truly shocking part about all this: In my estimation, the reason nothing will eat a McDonald’s hamburger bun (except a human) is because it’s not food!

No normal animal will perceive a McDonald’s hamburger bun as food, and as it turns out, neither will bacteria or fungi. To their senses, it’s just not edible stuff. That’s why these bionic burger buns just won’t decompose.

Which brings me to my final point about this whole laughable distraction: There is only one species on planet Earth that’s stupid enough to think a McDonald’s hamburger is food. This species is suffering from skyrocketing rates of diabetes, cancer, heart disease, dementia and obesity. This species claims to be the most intelligent species on the planet, and yet it behaves in such a moronic way that it feeds its own children poisonous chemicals and such atrocious non-foods that even fungi won’t eat it (and fungi will eat cow manure, just FYI).

That’s the real story here. It’s not that McDonald’s hamburgers won’t decompose; it’s that people are stupid enough to eat them. But you won’t find CNN reporting that story any time soon.
